%%- Thunder roaring & storms brewing, in all financial markets. Brace yourself for a rough ride. %%- Is this time any different? No. It's greed, fear & ignorance. %%- Germany just banned naked short selling of certain bank stocks to prevent market turmoil. Most idiotic. The effect is more fears in the market. Why not banning selling of stocks all together? People are allowed to buy but not allowed to sell. That way, market will never fall & everybody will live happily ever after. %%- It wasn't too long ago everybody hated USD. Now everybody hates Euro. The weak Euro & even the strong AUD are 11% down vs USD since April. %%- I wouldn't call all this recovery in housing, stock market & the general economy a mirage. It's very real. But for how long? Is it just a rebound in a down trend? One thing is for sure: lots of volatility, be it stocks, currencies, or commodities.
