%%- US Senate recently passed a resolution apologizing to American Indians for the violence, massacres, and broken treaties (ie, land taken away illegally, millions of acres maybe).
No raparation mentioned. Words. No action. Better than nothing. It's acknoledgement of wrong doing, done 200 years ago. Maybe Japan will apologize for WW2 crimes in 2145.
And European nations like UK and France will probably apologize for invading and attacking China by this century's end, 200 years after they did it.
%%- McCain, having clinched the Republican presidential nomination, will visit France and a few other countries, including Israel, next week.
Doesn't he know it's a sensitive time to visit Israel before the election? People can't help but think he is going there to solicit help.
How? So that American Jews would give political support and financial help to his campaign.
