One of my favorite movie dialogues. %%- met M two months ago in a restaurant. my lawyer and a friend from more than 25 years ago. last time i saw her was more than 10 years ago. maybe a lawyer's work isn't very inspiring. in her office, everytime after i finished explaining to her the legal documents i'd like her to prepare for me, we'd chat for a long time about many things: in-laws, familiy, music, other lawyers, what i did in my line of work...everything but anything related to law and her profession. her husband, also a law man, is now the chief justice for that part of the country. a big shot. in one of our chats 20 years ago, i complained about all the legal procedures, documents and time needed for getting some simple result. "justice is slow," she smiled and said to me. justice is slow, indeed.
