when i majored in math, i never heard of fractals. and when i studied business in graduate school, branding was a term not found in any textbooks.
if you read books on technical analysis written in the 70s, a bottom was called a valley and daily price range was called a spread.
new subjects, ideas, issues and new way of calling things...
they say besides changing itself, everything keeps changing.
they forgot to mention a host of things that don't change:
tax, war, poverty, ignorance, bribery, incompetent governments, foolish masses...
and human nature: greed, stupidity, prejudice, narrowmindedness, short-sightedness, forgetfulness, laziness, curiosity...
and human feelings and emotions like anxieties, passion, hope, loneliness, jealousy, desires...
