the Democrats have taken control of the Senate, one day after they became the majority in the House and state governorship the race was a referendum on President Bush and the Republican Party, and more specifically, on Iraq War the people have spoken the worst cabinet member, Defense Secretary Rumsfeld, resigned and stepped down the same day election results came out, after at least 150,000 Iraqi civilians have ben killed because of this criminal US military invasion, not to mention several thousand young American soldiers who died unnecessarily in Iraq US allies all over the world sighed a sigh of relief. other than expressing their disapproval of invading Iraq, they didn't know what to do with this longtime friend, a superpower that was being controlled by a hawkish cabinet supported by misinformed voters give peace a chance. it may not just be a dream after all
