former US president kennedy's sister, patricia kennedy lawford, passed away 2 days ago at 82. it somehow reminded me of marilyn monroe, who was introduced to kennedy by his brother-in-law, british actor peter lawford, and later had an affair with the prisident.
the affair didn't last long but many people knew about it. kennedy at one time even brought monroe back to the white house when jackie wasn't around.
when john kennedy decided to end the affair, he sent his brother, robert kennedy, to "pacify" her. but then robert fell in love with her and even promised her he'd get a divorce and marry her.
realizing it's all lies later, coupled with other personal problems, one of the sexiest actresses ever, marilyn monroe, committed suicide in 1962, at the age of 36. a year later kennedy was himself killed in an assassination.
