In US it took less than 5 minutes for me to convert USD to another currency and then wire it to someone overseas.
厚! In Taiwan it took 45 minutes(!) to get exactly the same thing done.
The bank employee in US who did it for me was just some average young guy behind a desk while in Taiwan it was a very experienced and efficient young lady.
What does all this tell us?
It is that the system, process and procedures for doing banking transactions in US banks are much better thought out and designed and therefore many times more efficient than those in Taiwan banks.
No wonder the productivity per worker in US is highest in the world.
And I can't help wonder what have corporation management and high position government officials in Taiwan been doing?
Don't they know what have gone wrong? Can't they send people overseas to learn more about what others are doing?
If US average workers can produce 800% more efficiently than your well trained employees, it means your methods and systems are way backward and out-dated.
What you need to do is to UPDATE and UPGRADE your inferior system and do it quick.
Cut out all the crap and unnecessary paper work.
Get the brightest designers and pay them handsome rewards.
Or else you fall behind, way behind.
