in the last two years i've been trying to reach the past and also to get in touch with the more recent...in popular music
i did that by listening to CDs, radio, satellite music channels, and online radio and videos, mostly when i was on internet...and i did spent a lot of time on internet
among things i discovered:
1) rock'n'roll during the late 50s and early 60s is very charming and exciting, its beat irresistible. i always have the urge to and would often actually get up and rock and twist with it when the music starts playing
2) i fall in love with country music all over again. i liked it when i was a teenager, i like it now. its style keeps evolving but it's always folksy, natural, melodic, charming, sweet, sad, sentimental, and sappy
3) i prefer R&B in earlier decades than how it is now
4) Peter, Paul & Mary...they're great. magic dragon, keep puffing!
