In trading stocks or futures, there's no such thing as a stupid entry. There are only stupid exits. Where or when you choose to establish a position may not be ideal but the success or failure of the transaction really depends on where or when you choose to get out of the market.

You may buy high, but as long as you can sell higher, it's a profitable trade.

Or you buy at the top, but if you get out quick, the loss could be kept to a insignificantly minimum.

How you start the game is not nearly as important as how you finish it.
